“The hydrogen should be the pure hydrogen, it should be produced in a way that leaves no carbon footprint. The Japanese combine wind farms with water electrolysis. So the energy that is in surplus, e.g. in wind farms, enables us to electrolyze water and recover green hydrogen.” – says Jerzy Czuczman, the CEO of Polish Maritime Technology Forum.
“We are going to build offshore wind farms, but bearing in mind that the energy transmission system is weak, we could use floating units to convert water into hydrogen and oxygen.” – says captain Jerzy Uziębło.
