IMPORTANT – No restrictions for ship repair in Poland

Due to Covid-19 epidemic Polish Ministry of Maritime Economy and Inland Navigation informs on a procedure for ship entering Polish yard for a repair.

The procedure remains the same as in any cargo vessel enter.

The agent advises a harbour on the entering of the ship and the state of  the craw also where they were before and when. After mooring the Coast Gard and Fire Officers get on board to examine health of the crew e.g. skin temperature checking. All the follow-up procedures are at Coast Gard & GIS (Chief Sanitary Inspectorate) discretion.

To be up-to-dated there is recommended direct contact with being on-duty: harbour captain’s, Coast Gard’s and GIS’s officers
