The shipowner is FLC, which is responsible for the construction and assembly of the tunnel between Germany and Denmark. The submersible Fehmarn Belt tunnel, approximately 17.6 km long, consists of several dozen prefabricated elements. The elements of the tunnel will be transported and installed using the so-called submersible pontoons connected by a crane truss. The implementation of such a complex project confirms Crist’s well-established position in the market of specialist units.
