Our members play golf and win the 6th Wspólna Kaczka Golf Cup

In windy weather, golf enthusiasts competed in the 6th Wspólna Kaczka Golf Cup tournament. The tournament took place on the Tokary Golf Club course. Many guests came on Thursday, October 12, to play for the highest stakes, breaking the attendance record for this event. Traditionally, the event was divided into a tournament for professional players and an academy for amateurs.

The main tournament was played in 4 categories: gross strokeplay and net stableford for guests invited by Namiary, and gross strokeplay and net stableford for other players. As usual, several less obliging categories were also introduced to emphasize the casual and more entertaining nature of this event. The following competitions took place: longest drive “in two shots” on the 7th and 17th holes, nearest to the pin “in two shots” on the 3rd and 12th holes and nearest to the line on the 5th and 10th holes. In turn, the participants of the golf academy had the opportunity to try their hand at 2 competitions: nearest to the pin and longest drive, and before that, complete a playing course not only on the field, but also on the simulator. The competition within the so-called Ryder Cup, in which teams from Tricity and Szczecin competed, added spice to the tournament. The team from Tricity won once again.

Over 150 enthusiastic golfers and adepts of this sport took part in the event, and their spirits were high, regardless of the result, which made it great fun. As a whole, Wspólna Kaczka Golf Cup is, above all, an opportunity for direct contacts and conversations about common interests, in a nice and relaxed atmosphere.

The event was organized by Namiary. The Main Partner of the tournament was Polska Żegluga Bałtycka SA – Polferries, and the Partners were: Grupa Rubo, exito Broker Sp. z o. o., Polskie Linie Oceaniczne SA, Port of Gdansk Authority SA, Safe Co. Ltd Sp. z o. o., An Elec Sp. z o. o., Roxtec Poland Sp. z o. o., Stocznia Remontowa Nauta SA, TKF and Unibaltic. Traditionally, the honorary patronage was taken by the Polish Maritime Technology Forum.

The Wspólna Kaczka Golf Cup is primarily an opportunity for direct meetings or conversations about common interests, in a nice and relaxed atmosphere, outdoors. And an opportunity to invite your own guests who will appear at the Wspólna Kaczka meeting. We hope that the attendance of these competitions, which is growing year by year, will mean that, just like Wspólna Kaczka itself for many years, they will also become a permanent part of the calendar of events integrating the broadly understood maritime industry. Therefore, we are now inviting you to the 7th edition of Wspólna Kaczka Golf Cup.
